Welcome to Cinematopia - WebPlex's guide to Old Cinemas of the UK

This site is the very, very early result of a new project to produce and exhibit archive photographs of old cinema buildings in the UK. The High Street cinema is rapidly becoming extinct, with sites disappearing at an alarming rate. At least this way, examples of cinema architecture will be preserved.
